Looking for an engaging, thoughtful, one-time discussion guide for your covenant group or Sunday school? Our denomination has put together an excellent online resource, packed with downloadable short-term (one or two session) discussions called The Thoughtful Christian. Each topic has a leader guide and a participant handout. They cost $5-10 each to download. "Pray for Our Enemies" Blogspot
Jesus stated in Mathew and Luke that we should pray for our enemies. One of SPC’s members, Henry “Mack” Davis, has felt considerable spiritual prodding in this area for some time and has set up a blogspot, http://prayforourenemies.blogspot.com, that has his initial thoughts on the subject and is beginning to draw outside participation.
