Volunteers generally work one-on-one with frail elderly, allowing them to remain in their homes and communities instead of being institutionalized. Services generally fall into four categories: transportation, household management, nutrition, and socialization. HOA! benefits include:

  • Supplemental accident and liability coverage while on duty
  • Mileage and meal reimbursement (where applicable)
  • Volunteers set their own schedules and activities
  • Volunteers work within their own geographic area
  • Volunteers develop friendships with their clients
  • Annual recognition even, newsletter, and special mailings.
