LAS MANOS DE DIOS MISSION TRIP
I hope that you’ll consider joining in on a life-changing experience! The dates of the trip are
May 29-June 6, 2010. The trip is open to incoming freshmen (current 8th graders) and graduating seniors (current seniors).
We are going to Port Neches, Texas, on the Gulf Coast. Hurricane Ike is the largest hurricane ever observed in the Atlantic basin and the third most destructive hurricane to ever make landfall in the United States. It slammed into Texas on September 13, 2008, as a strong Category 2 hurricane, with Category 5 equivalent storm and hurricane-force winds extending 120 miles from the center. The hurricane devoured everything in its path. The aftermath of the rain, wind and waves did the rest of the devastation.
There are still effects from this storm two years later. So we will go. We will go because God has called us to be His hands.
