Krista Peterson

Director of Spiritual Growth and Discipleship

Office: (505) 856-5040

I have been serving at Sandia Presbyterian since 2020.  I spent the first six years as the Director of Children’s Ministry and am now moving on to work with the adults. I am a native of Albuquerque and have an education degree from Hardin-Simmons University and a Masters in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  I’ve been doing ministry for my entire career and appreciate the purpose and growth that ministry has given to me.  Besides ministry, I love snow skiing, mexican food and being in the mountains. I love the opportunity to teach God’s word and enable others to dive deep into these meaningful truths.  Sandia is a beautiful church, filled with grace and welcoming to all.  Come join us!
