Upward Basketball

We're excited for the 2025–26 Season of Upward Basketball! All evaluations, practices, and games are held in the Family Life Center Gym at Sandia Presbyterian Church. Each team practices only once per week for one hour on one-half of an Upward-sized basketball court utilizing one basket. All games will be held on Saturdays from January to March in the Family Life Center Gym. Once your player is assigned to a team after evaluations, you will be able to access the team's schedule and coaches contact information through their team webpage! Registration opens on Monday, September 1.
Registration closes on October 16.
Evaluations begin October 13.
NO REFUNDS will be given after October 13.
Practices start on November 17.
There are no practices from November 24-28 and December 22 to January 2.
The first game day is January 24.
The final game day is March 14.
The season celebration is March 14.

At half-time of each game, while players are in their "locker rooms," we provide a 3-4 minute devotional for parents, siblings, and other spectators who remain in the gym. We need volunteers to offer these devotions. If you've signed up to do a devotion, please arrive in the Family Life Center Gym at a quarter after the hour.
