Thank you for lifting these things up to the Lord in the coming days!
The Nagel family has plans to fly into Albuquerque next Monday, March 31! Airport pickup and temporary lodging has been arranged through generous SPC members. The church staff is working hard to have everything ready for Pastor Aaron to get settled in his new office during the 2nd week of April. Exciting times!

March 17, 2025 Update
Dear members and friends of Sandia Pres,
Our new Senior Pastor and his family have some things we can pray for this week! Please lift these items up to the Lord:
From Pastor Aaron:
1. Pray for wisdom and success in negotiations with the Trustee owners of the ABQ home we purchased. There's been a hiccup on the house regarding inspection, appraisal and mortgage closing. Negotiations with the Sellers' Trustees will need to be finalized by Thursday, March 20 to close on the home March 26! If unsuccessful, we will have to revise our moving date by several days which will affect several moving contracts.
2. Pray for peace and strength for the Nagel's to accept what cannot be changed. Sage was denied taking classes at UNM by GMU. Though he quickly accepted and understands the decision, the loss of some possible college campus activities weighs heavily on his parents.
3. Prayers of thanks that numerous NM medical provider transfers are going well for the Nagel's future care.
From the SPC transition team:
If you would like to send a note of welcome/encouragement to Aaron and Barbara, their address is below.
"Deadline" for sending these - March 28th.

March 10, 2025 Update
Dear members and friends of Sandia Pres,
Our new senior pastor Dr. Aaron Nagel and his wife Barbara had a good week in Albuquerque last week! They met many of you at SPC during dinner and at the Ash Wednesday service.
They also made an offer on a home and it was accepted! Praise God! Now we can pray for a smooth escrow process so that they can have a home to move into in early April.
Pastor Aaron also shared the prayer requests below, so please lift these things up to the Lord in the days to come.
- That Sage (older son) will be granted the ability by George Mason University to take classes at UNM. Our meeting with staff at GMU is Wednesday.
- That we continue to find medical personnel to transfer our care to ABQ.
- It would be wonderful for Sandia to pray for Little Falls church (current home church) in their transition and to find temporary pastoral leadership.
Thank you!
The Personnel Committee
March 3, 2025 Update
Dear members and friends of Sandia Pres,
Our new senior pastor, Dr. Aaron Nagel, is in Albuquerque this week with his wife Barbara house hunting. House hunting can be quite a challenging process. Please pray for them this week that God will provide the right house for them.
They are also looking into resources for their sons, Sage and Clay. Pray that God helps them connect with the right people for this and provides the resources that their sons will need to flourish here in Albuquerque.
Pastor Aaron and Barbara are planning to be at our Wednesday Fellowship dinner this Wednesday at 5:45 pm and also join us for our Ash Wednesday service at 6:45 pm. They are looking forward to connecting with many of you at those events.
Sincerely,
The Personnel Committee
