How to Ruin Your Life

Is your life going too well? Are you wondering how you can ruin it? Then join us for this sermon series to learn time-tested ways to make a mess of your life.

Behold a Savior Is Born

Christmas is the fulfillment of hundreds of years of prophetic predictions about the coming of the Messiah who would change the world. God’s people waited for a Savior who would come to rescue and restore a broken creation. They held onto hope that God would stay true to his promise. With joy, they anticipated Christ’s arrival. As a humble servant, Jesus’ loved all he encountered from the cradle to the cross. The world would know the peace of God, who had come near. Behold, our Savior is born, the world will never be the same.

You Were Made for This

What is our purpose as human beings? Why did God make us? Join us for this sermon series to find out the answers to those questions.

A Whale Tale

Join us for this sermon series on Jonah as we reflect on how Jonah ran from God, ran to God, and ran against God. Jonah's journey in his relationship with God describes our journeys of faith as well.

Jesus is THE Big Deal

In this sermon series on 1 Thessalonians, Pastor Doug talks about how our faith in and love for Jesus is a really big deal to us and motivates us to work hard so that others will share our faith in and love for Jesus. The way we live demonstrates the reality of our faith and that Jesus is the big deal.

Belonging

Loneliness and isolation are rampant in our society. How do we move from loneliness and isolation to community and connection? The answer is living into our identities as God's children and being a part of God's new family.

What God Hates

God hates all that damages, deforms, and divides humanity. God longs for us to flourish in healthy communities. The seven things God hates described in Proverbs 6:16-19 contribute to breaking down the peaceful and healthy relationships in which God intends us to live. God is committed to wholeness in our relationships and thus is implacably opposed to socially destructive human failings and sins.

Lessons from the Wilderness

In this sermon series, we are looking at the wilderness experience of the Israelites as they leave Egypt, wander in the wilderness, and reach the Promised Land. There is a lot we can learn from their journey!

We Have Seen His Glory

Jesus has supremely revealed God’s glory to us and made God’s glory visible in his body, his flesh. Jesus’ first disciples saw God’s glory with their own eyes. In Jesus, God’s glory walked the earth.

“And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
