Every Monday evening 6-8:30pm, we meet for dinner and fellowship followed by a book study! Whether you are a 20-something (or close to), in school or in the working world, single, dating or married... we welcome you to our Young Adult Community Group! We believe in the importance of Christian community and in having a safe place to discuss how to live out our faith in Christ! For more info text or call Sophia (505) 573-7550.

Hi I’m Sophia Lucero. I’m 23 years old and proud to be born and raised in Albuquerque. Currently I’m also a barista at Starbucks and love being surrounded by coffee everyday. For the past 3 years I help run Children’s Ministry down the street at Covenant UMC. Although I’m not currently enrolled in school I am a member of the Wesley Foundation Campus Ministry at UNM. Happy to be so involved in ministry with young people across the board! In my free time you’ll find me hanging out with my huge family or with my eyes glued to the tv watching the latest sports game. After spending time as an intern, I'm excited to join the staff permanently here at Sandia Pres,  and for all the amazing people I’m bound to meet!
