We love our celebrities, and Jesus was a huge celebrity when he rode into Jerusalem as Solomon did. But Jesus goes beyond celebrity attraction -- he transforms lives. In the church we believe life begins when we believe in Jesus as savior, when we finally come to the place where we can shout, "Hosanna, save me now, save me, please!"

The church is a hospital for sinners and sufferers, a place for imperfect people. It is the imperfect people who join in the procession shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
