Jesus Goes Up

April 28, 2013 | Dr. Doug Hucke
Passage: Acts 1:1-11

The Kingdom of God began when Jesus came. His Ascension indicated that his mission on earth had come to an end, but it did not mean Jesus came to an end. The Ascension of Jesus is the final confirmation that sin and death have been conquered. It gives us access to Jesus any time and any place, and it expands the Kingdom mission on earth. We have work to do until Jesus' return.

Series Information

As subjects of the King, our calling is to make every day Serve Day until Christ returns. The Kingdom has come but it is not complete--it will only be complete when Jesus returns. Until then, we are charged with working with the Spirit in Kingdom work. We have work to do.
