Series: Words We Avoid

Obedience

January 05, 2014 | Dr. Doug Hucke
Passage: Mark 1:9-15

One of the biggest problems with churches is that we are not obedient to our baptismal vows we see churches as dispensers of religious goods and services and participate only as long as we find something for us. Obedience is a matter of attitude, of making good little decisions that add up to a way of life that follows the example Jesus set for us. We are called to proclaim the Gospel, and the most powerful way to do it is by witnessing with our lives our obedience to God.
