Like Jacob, most of us wrestle with God. Wrestling with God comes at a cost, even as God stands ready to wrestle us through our questions of faith. The important thing is to stay engaged with God in this struggle. God may not answer our questions or give the outcomes or explanations we want, but he will give us himself, a blessing resulting in faith.

Wrestling with God and with issues of faith will change us. However difficult, it is important to engage in that struggle, and God stands ready to meet us.
