Passage: Luke 2:8-20
Angels are popular and part of all Western religions; the problem is that we often focus on them and forget about God. While we envision them as cute, cherubic, cuddly beings, in reality they must be frightening, as their appearance is always accompanied by instructions not to be afraid. We have a false image of them, rather than God, as loving and compassionate, Like angels, our faces should always be turned toward God, and not focused on his messengers.
