I Believe in God, But God Is Not Fair!

November 10, 2013 | Dr. Doug Hucke

Life has always been unfair, and people, including Christians, have always struggled with that. We confuse justice with fairness. Justice is about living according to the laws and rules of a society. Fairness is not according to laws but one's own viewpoint. In God's goodness he gives all of us something we do not deserve: grace. Grace is by definition unfair, but it is not unjust. Jesus was on the receiving end of the ultimate unfairness in cosmic history. Because of that he understands your pain. He will never leave us nor forsake us, especially when life is unfair.

Series Information

This series is based on Craig Groeschel's book, "The Christian Atheist," which addresses the disconnect between our belief in Jesus and the way we live our lives. What are talking about for the next month is not a bunch of rules about how to live your life. God is interested in how you live your life because he's really after your heart.
