The Welcome & Involvement Team
The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 15:7, “Therefore, receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.” The Welcome and Involvement Team applies this act of receiving and welcoming as we greet our members and visitors, and as we interact with them before, during, and after the services. Our goals are to model friendliness and facilitate connections. We strive to be ready to answer questions anyone might have about our church and make them aware of opportunities to get involved in the life of the church. We seek to learn their names and to be willing to guide them through our facility.
To accomplish this, we need greeters for the 9:30 and 10:45 services. We need greeters who are prepared to welcome people to church, are familiar with the different offerings and programs our church offers, and know the layout of the building to help people find their way around.
