Part of the Advent Conspiracy is the radical reminder that Christmas is not about the gifts. What your family and friends want at Christmas is you. Giving of yourself is actually harder than buying gifts. But God giving himself in human form was also radical and unconventional. Spend less and give more of yourself, and consider using the savings to give more finacial support to community ministries.
