Series: Pushing God's Buttons

The Panic Button

June 09, 2013 | Dr. Doug Hucke

We all experience fear, even if we are afraid of different things. Some fear is good and keeps us healthy. But fear can also become toxic, and when panic sets in it overwhelms and incapacitates us. There are many scary forces at work in the world, but the real struggle is in our hearts; it is between our ability to trust Jesus Christ or fear all the threats we see. Jesus wants us to trust him in all things and not let fear win.

Series Information

We like to think we can control God, as if with the click of a button, that we can persuade God to give us what we want. But God is beyond our control, and His plans for us are far greater than we can imagine. There is a big difference between what we want and what we need, and we need to learn to trust God in all things.
