Series: The Advent Conspiracy

Love All

December 24, 2013 | Dr. Doug Hucke

Dec. 18 is National Re-gifting Day in the U.S. and Canada. Would you re-gift something you do need or want? God gave the most priceless gift he could imagine because he loves us that much! We disciples are also called to love all, an orientation that leads to action. While you cannot even begin to solve the problems in your family, let alone your community orthe world, you can begin by looking outside your cocoon for one problem to solve, one person to help. God has probably been tugging on your heart in some way, giving a sense of a way you can help somebody. Step out in faith and re-gift that grace.

Series Information

Many of us dread this time of year because it has stopped being about what it should be about, focusing instead on greed and materialism. This series connects to the Advent Conspiracy movement (www.adventconspiracy.org), which seeks to restore the meaning of Christmas.
